My 'back to school' outfit for Melludee's competition.

Sooooo, a few days ago Melody
had announced a competition called The Back to School Competition where
you can submit your photo of what your personal interpretation of 'Going back to
school' means. Meaning, you can dress up as anything that reminds you of school.


School uniforms, nerds, preps, teachers, anything!

The competition ends on June 21st (that's when pictures will be up for voting)
and voting ends on June 28th (competition is completed ended at this point)

Since there's a lot of time left before the 21st ... I highly suggest for
anyone to go try this out! You never know if you end up winning. ;D

I try to dress up in an uniform-ish type of outfit and I was trying to be
nerdy too. :p You're allowed to enter collages but I just couldn't figure
out how to make a collage with both my close up pics and the outfit pic. xD
Also, I didn't like how any of my outfit pictures showed up. :\


Did you have to wear a school uniform
throughout your elementary, middle school and high school years?

I never had to wear a uniform since I all of my schools were public and not private
and also its not really enforced in the US. Though ... I remember a time where
my middle school tried to enforce uniforms and me being a pushover I let my mom
convince me to wear them. After I noticed how no one wore them and I was the very
few that did wear them, I got fed up and fought with my mom about it. Eventually,
I got rid of the uniforms and dressed however I wanted. I wasn't necessarily
good at wearing whatever I wanted. :p I was the typical scrunched up jeans,
plain t-shirt, dirty sneakers, type of nerd. Its so relieving when you realize how
much you have evolved as a person. lol

What the heck ...

Ugh, blogger's sort of driving me crazy. @_@

I had published a post two days ago and now its not showing up. Not even as a draft ...
it might of been because of the maintenance that was happening.

Have you ever felt embarrassed for being a camwhore?
Well, you shouldn't.
You should always love yourself and if taking pictures
of yourself makes you happy and helps pass the boredom, then do it.

I can definitely relate to this!
This little excerpt is from Melody's Love Yourself Camwhore Competition.
I thought it was a really neat and fun idea. It's true, it shouldn't
feel wrong to be a camera whore. Though ... what give camera whores
a bad name are the few camera whores out there that say things to
people like "I think I look fugly" in all their pictures when really
they look fine. -__-;
Its definitely alright to ask your close friends whether you look good but,
imo its best to avoid putting anyone else in that kind of position.

Anyways I guess I'll be participating with old pictures?

If not, its fine this is just all for fun. :3)
I've had the same hairstyle for the past 3 years, and
I really don't remember when all these photos were taken
so none of them will be in a particular order.
For some reason lately I haven't been in camera whoring mood.
Not like how I use to be. D':
(Have you ever noticed how your mood can reflect itself in a picture
or on a mirror? I've tried taking more creative pictures but they just
don't reflect any enthusiasm.)

taken through a cell phone, digital camera, webcam.

Do you become a camera whore whenever ever
you get new clothing accessories, etc?
Or do you cam whore when you've got nothing else to do?

Blog Update;;

I changed my banner and background this morning,
and it was completely out of random.
I was originally planning on changing the whole layout
somewhere in December, but ... I got sort of motivated/inspired
this morning due to all the cute web page material I was staring
at.

The banner sort of screams 'gyaru' to me. xD

Also, I notice that today I hit 50 followers.

Let's start!

One; I sleep with the TV on every night. I am a true coward.
I get extremely paranoid at night, and not even a night light helps. ;__;
My creative imagination gets the best of me.
Sometimes I need to feel like I'm not alone by leaving on the tv.
My parents gets angry at the fact that I waste electricity that way,
but ... my TV isn't even on all day. I don't watch TV during the morning or day,
so I guess that's equal it out? c: (Sorry if I sound insane!)

Two; I love BACON.
Anything edible with bacon in it, on it, or around it, I'll devour it.

Three; I get mistaken for a 14 year old. I'm 19, just
so everyone knows and will become 20 in about 2 months.
My height and my childish nature give people the
wrong idea, yet you won't be able to tell unless we met in person.

Four; I have a pretty deep voice for a girl.
As stated above, people usually think I'm younger and such ...
and since I'm like 5ft flat in height, people assume that I have
a bubbly, really girly voice. I WISH. T_T It's pretty deep if you
hear it in person, not like "eww, you sound like a man" deep but it's
not something that would match me. xD; I don't like it as much.

Five; I'm a goof-ball. I enjoy being a complete goof.
I really like Dark Humor, and I tend to be offensive and crazy with
my jokes & actions but, who isn't these days?

Six; I high five everyone I meet for the first time or already know.
It's stupid, I know. D: I can't contain myself when the urges come up.

Seven; I really enjoy asian horror films/manga.
They are so creative when it comes to a meaningful, yet horrifying story ...
Yup, now it seems like we know the reason as to why I can't sleep at night. xD;
The king of the horror genre in manga is totally Junji Ito. His work
is both amazing and morbidly insane. I've had friends who never usually get
scared of horror stories until they read something from Junji. I've read some
of his stuff, and by far my favorite is Spiral or Uzumaki.
