Two weeks ago I gathered up enough courage and bought these pair of lenses off of yesstyle. Yup, I've never had any type of contacts in my eyes before.
And I'll tell you right now ... Man, that was the most easiest thing in the world. What was I so scared of? It goes to show a lot about my personality that I stayed cleared of something stupid like this. Well actually, I remember my times of squirming around over at the Optometrist's office as she was trying to put eye drops in my eyes. I remember how she try to guilt me into staying still and then she told me things like 'how do you expect to wear contacts if you can't even let eye drops in'. So, ever since all of those times it just caused me to stay clear of contacts ... cause I thought they would sting my eyes just like those medicated eye drops.
Though, they didn't sting. Or at least, not for more than a couple of seconds. When I first got these lenses I immediately opened the vial, dumped one single lenses onto my palm, and I disinfected them with this awesome solution called Opti Free. I heard its important to disinfect the lenses cause you're not suppose to wear the lenses straight from the vial. The solution in the vial aren't meant for your eyes. Though, I've had a couple friends say that they've used the lenses straight from the vials and that nothing bad happened to them. Yet. :P
So ... after disinfecting them it took me like, an hour to get them in. I'm such a paranoid coward. lol I mean it felt like forever ... but once they were in they irritated my eyes a little bit for the first few seconds and then, tada! They ended up feeling extremely comfortable. I wish I tried this years ago. (but yeah, I have such a stubborn, wuss personality) These lenses feel extremely comfortable, I've worn them for more than 6 hours and have had no problems. I really like the color but I suppose if they were a tad bit lighter in color then I would really fall in love.
I've actually been admiring this series of lenses for almost a year. I was so glad to find them on yesstyle in the exact color I wanted. They're pricier on yesstyle but I knew that to begin with. I didn't want to risk getting fake lenses cause I've read around the horrible effects you can get from wearing them. My eyes are bad enough. I don't need to ruin them even more. Yesstyle sells authentic GEO lenses, so I definitely had to jump on that. (I might get more lenses from them soon ... *-*)

Next post I'll reveal the other two potential lenses I might buy. :3
EDIT/UPDATE 7/5/12:These lenses are AMAZING. Overall, after comparing them to my Xtra Blue lenses I've decided to give them a better rating.

I started to realize how pretty this color truly is. ALSO, update on the comfort level of these things: I went Paint balling with the Princess Mimi lenses on, took a shower after, and went to go eat dinner and throughout those events they did not dry out AT ALL. I've worn them for 9+ hours on multiple occasions.

It was surprisingly windy and cold outside today. Very unlike Florida.
Hello everyone, I guess I'm reappearing on here again?
c:
Let me start off this whole new beginning with this:
The beginning of this year was just awful.
It felt like a reoccurring nightmare that just wouldn't come to an end.
During those times I ran to facebook and wrote statuses revealing
things I shouldn't have about my life. I ended up deactivating my
Facebook because I couldn't deal with myself anymore. I was at a hectic
state of mind. I had serious problems in all aspects of my life.
Work, Education, Love Life.
I truly felt like all of those events was sort of like an initiation to
adulthood.
"Welcome to the Real World! Have fun!"
Never again. I had just turned 21 too when all of those problems intensified. So in a funny cosmic way I can't help but to think that it was all just a horrible initiation act.
"Alright, you're in kid."
Although, my life is a lot better now. I worked things out with Tommy
so we're both back on track with our relationship. With my education, I spoke with
an academic adviser and she made me feel so much better about my situation
with school and outside of school. And work, well with work I wasn't so confident
in my abilities at first but now I am. Which reminds me...
When I first started this job is when I stopped blogging on here.
(Which explains my inexcusable absence.) The last post was about Kyary ... so
I believe a week or two right after that I had got the job at a Dunkin Donuts.
How is it so far? Its interesting. Its bearable. Its fun sometimes.
There's a few things I dislike but I won't go into that now. Maybe laterrr.
