Super Mario Bros and Re-ments!

Hello! (✿◠‿◠)
Halloween is almost near!
A week from today to be exact.

Last Saturday, Tommy and I dressed up as Mario and Luigi
for this Halloween party at a comic book shop.

I've always wanted to do a Mario/Luigi theme with someone ...

There's another Halloween party this Saturday that we're going to go to as well.
Except, we won't be Mario and Luigi again.

I was thinking of creating a Sadako inspired look.

We'll see how that goes ...
☆~

I've always loved re-ment toys but I only own a few ... Including the one above.

I bought this one last Wednesday to be exact.
I normally see re-ments and rarely buy them ...
They're just too expensive and troublesome.
All of the tiny pieces involved can easily get lost and I just get so angry
whenever I get the ones I don't really want.

Oh, and again they're a bit pricey?
The one above was around $8.
I own a few, and they've all ranged from $6 to $8 each.
(I should probably look at a re-ment box I have and see how much they cost in yen)

I'm complaining yet I can't really stop admiring these blind boxes/capsule toys.
( TДT)

Luckily, with this Rilakkuma blind box,  all of the surprise
re-ments were all just equally adorable so it didn't matter which
one would come up.

The packaging itself is just, so ...
ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ !!!

There's this youtube channel dedicated to re-ments, konapun, and other such things.
When I first discovered it, I felt so ... excited.
Like, the child within me could't contain herself.
This was in the beginning of the year , and I just remember somehow running into
a video from this channel on tumblr ...
The rest is history.

I've wasted so much time watching and re-watching videos on there.
The konapun and re-ment are intriguing and the person in the videos
is so delicate with his or her's stuff ...

My finger tips would of been moist from trying to carefully connect the re-ment pieces together.

These are part of my favorites from this channel:

What are your plans for Halloween this year?

Lolita Makeovers!

(Ness on the left and Steven on the right)

Its been pretty eventful last week to say the least.
I had the chance to spend time with all of my closest friends.
It's sort of a rarity for all of us to see each other since everyone's busy with work and college.

(Ness on the left and Nachi on the right)

So, I sort of dressed up my friends in my lolita clothes, wig, falsies ...
(●´∀`●)

I was always curious to see how Steven would look in lolita ...
So, curiosity killed the cat and I just went for it.
That day a Brolita was fabricated!

I originally wanted him to wear an AP dress but he was too tall for it. ;へ:
Thankfully,  Bodyline saved the day.

As for my friend Ness, she'll be moving to another country by November.
Well, not country.
I don't even know what to consider Puerto Rico as.
It's a U.S. territory, not really a state.
Yet, when you go there most people don't even know English.
PR is not even remotely Americanized.
I'm just going to think of it as another  country.
lol

but, anywho
My friend Ness, even though I've only known her for about 7 or 8 months, I've grown really close to her.
It hurts to have her go like this ... I can only hope we never lose contact.
Even though, PR is a two hour plane trip away from Florida. lol
I wanted to at least, have her try out lolita before she leaves.
Apparently, it worked as she's now considering dabbling into lolita fashion.

Aside from the above,  I've been also buying toys.
Not much ... normally small figurines that catch my attention.
I prefer smaller toys as its less spacious and they tend to be adorable.

For example, last Saturday I went to this newly opened Anime shop and they had these:

(From left to right: Ingus as a Knight, Refia as Devout, Refia
as a Magus, Refia as a Dragoon, and Arc as a Red Mage)

Final Fantasy III (DS ver.) figurines! ;A;

They're pretty difficult to find online so of course I took advantage!
And, of course I've always been in love with the Devout class in this game!
So, the Refia figurine in this class was the first thing I saw out of the bunch.
I remember once I unlocked this class I was so excited.
(;▽;)

Has anyone ever felt the urge
to dress a guy up in woman's clothing?

Its alright, just be honest. :D
I've always wanted to dress up my boyfriend as a woman.
I become super curious and just wanted to see them in makeup and whether they can pull it off or not. xD

P.S. Here's the only photo of me from that day of the lolita makeovers:

I was stuck with no time to wash up after I got off from work that day.
I was too busy making Ness and Steven look fabulous.
( `.∀´)

P.S.S. But then after Ness and Steven left I quickly fixed myself up:

Its like looking at a different person.

Vlog #3: Girigiri Safe and Theatrhythm

I'm quite addicting to vlogging ...
Well, not really.
I've just had a lot of time on my hands.
Tomorrow I'll be returning back to my usual work schedule.
MEANING, I have to be in bed reaaaal soon.
I go in at 6am. Ugggh T__T

I started listening to Tommy February6 again and reminiscing on all the nice, nostalgic
high school memories of when I was obsessed with her and her music.
I'm enjoying Tommy Feb's music far too much at the moment. ( TДT)
Tommy February6 is amazing.

Vlog #2: The Magus Sisters.

A quick vlog from yesterday about these two items I bought a couple of days back.
Most of the video is Final Fantasy related, so you don't have to watch the whole video unless
you're a FF nerd as well. xD

I'm still trying to get used to the camera and learning how to become less nervous while filming.
Also, I'm in the process of  learning how think and talk? lol
I feel like I just say anything without realizing what I'm saying ...
or how I'm saying it.

Definitely a lot to work on.

Beret: H&M
Wig: Ebay
Shirt: Target
Jeans: Hottopic
Shoes: Bodyline

So June is finally here, it's going to be a very eventful month.
This weekend I get the lucky chance to go attend Star Wars Weekend over
at Disney and I'm really excited about it. I'm deciding as of now what
to incorporate in an outfit for that day. xD; After that my lovely bff,
Nachi, is going to turn 20 on June 14th. She's planning on doing something
but she's not sure what do. I told her I was up for anything. :3
From June 17 - 19 there's going to be an anime convention that's being held
called Metro Convention. Tommy is really excited about going and so am I.
I'm mostly excited to see what kind of lolitas will be there since the city
its going to be in seems to have a good amount of local loli's. After that
there are 3 more birthdays. BT's birthday and my cousin's = June 24th and
Tommy's birthday = June 25th. It'll be somewhat of an eventful month. lol

I've been noticing this whole new craze about this fitness style known as
Zumba. I didn't know much about it until my mom decided to buy the
Zumba Fitness game for the Wii. I was with her when we bought it and she
kept telling me how she read reviews on it and most reviews were positive
so she wanted to try it out. Once I started playing the game is when I found
out what Zumba really was.

At first I thought Zumba was some sort of Brazilian dancing style.
I was sort of surprised, and kind of happy, that Zumba basically
incorporates different dancing styles into one workout routine.
The specific dancing style? They are all Latin/Carribbean dancing
styles like Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, and I was even surprised
when I saw some Dancehall music/moves incorporated. There's some
hip hop too but I mostly felt comfortable with the Latin dancing
styles since I grew up surrounded by them.

Am I any good at any of them?
No, not really. D: Merengue maybe ...
If you have no idea how any of these dancing styles look like
I would recommend youtubing them if you're really curious.
I'm pretty sure everyone is very familiar with Salsa dancing.
Anybody? :D

Though, even if I'm not an amazing dancer, the game is still really
entertaining despite it not feeling much like a game.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good representation of the game
on youtube so instead I'll post a preview to a Zumba fitness DVD.

The game is no different from this DVD workout.
The objective is to basically follow up with the dancing silhouette
and you basically have to wear this specific belt that comes with
the game in which you place the wii mote into the belt's pocket and
supposedly the game will detect your hip movements through
the wii mote. Though, if you really didn't care about following
the silhouette then you can basically get points easily by just
wiggling your body. lol

I personally really like the silhouettes because it makes it easier
to just concentrate on the choreography and its moderate to follow
but to the point where you'll be drenched in sweat so this game
should definitely be played when you have nothing to do at home.
(where you can shower and wash your hair after playing)

Have you ever heard of Zumba before this post?

It really is popular around here ... I've noticed Zumba workout
centers opening up at different places including in a mall. lol

Today and yesterday all I've been playing is Super Mario Galaxy 2.

It's such a cute, and fun game.
It's the first Mario 3D game where it
actually gets a sequel. Unlike Super Mario 64
and Super Mario Sunshine.
(I categorize 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy under 3D
since all the Super Mario Bros. are obviously
2D and I won't even count all the Mario Party's,
and Mario sport related games. lol)

So far I have 23 stars and I'm in World 2.
There's a total of about ... 242 stars in
Mario Galaxy 2. I plan on getting them all.

-__-

Along with playing Mario Galaxy 2, I also
received 3 more games through the courtesy of my mom.

I got . . .

◊ Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)
◊ Super Princess Peach (DS)
◊ Professor Layton and Pandora's Box (DS)

The DS cartridges came without a case, are used,
and were waaay cheaper than what Gamestop
would sell them for. She got them from a friend
who was selling a small collection of DS cartridges.

Does anyone enjoy playing video games?
If so, what kind?

I really enjoy playing a lot of the childish, cutesy
games. Like Katamari, Mario, Starfy ...
xD
Easy Gaming.
