It's so incredibly hot right now ...
Not even our AC unit is strong enough for this heat. (;へ:)
September is almost coming to an end and yet, no sign of fall.
I guess that's normal for most places. (ー_ー )
Though, when I use to live in New York as a child we use
to see the early signs of fall at around this time ...
We'd have a little breeze come by and leaves from trees
would start falling off.
The sun was also less intense ... Then again this is Florida and
the sun will always be obnoxious. Even through the winter season.
Last week I had more hours at work. (^ ^)
Also, last Saturday I had a photoshoot with my photographer friend, Will.
Will on the right. 。◕‿◕。
I can't wait to see the actual results!
The purpose of the photo shoot was to create a showcase
for his jewelery/accessories that he's going to sell on Etsy.
All of his items revolve around the doll cult/pastel goth style.
I tried my best to try to dress up in a more 'pastel goth' style ...
I TRIED.
From right to left: Ozelle, me, and Melanie
I sort of stole these pictures from Will. ◠‿◠;
What I love about him is that even if we're just hanging
out he'll take pictures of everything!
In the same time we'll have fun goofing off.
This was my second time hanging out with Will and Ozelle
and I've felt so comfortable with being myself with them.
Also, Ozelle is so pretty! ;ω;
So yes, I was suppose to wear lolita for the past two weeks ... heh
Well, last Saturday I had the photo shoot and the Saturday
before that me and Tommy went to the flea market.
Mind you, the flea market I went to HAS NO AC. (・_・;)
Which I don't mind ...
Though, it wouldn't have been nice sweating in lolita. lol
By the way actually ...
So, about that Gangnam Style.
I heard it at least a couple times on the radio last week!
Along with Wonder Girl's Like Money.
I did not expect Gangnam Style to blow up into epic proportions ...
200 mil views already?!
I really enjoy the song/video but I don't want to
somehow grow tired of it.
Hopefully it doesn't become so obnoxious in popularity. (¬_¬)
I haven't heard any of my co-workers talk about Gangnam Style yet
so we're good for now.
I suppose.
Back in July when it released, I was just thinking Psy was to South Korea
what Kyary is to Japan ... Didn't expect celebs from the US to take a huge
interest him.
Have any of you heard Gangnam Style
on the radio yet? or Wonder Girls?
These videos are from girls who participated in EGL's theme
in April.
Its very interesting seeing the dramatic transformation
once a person applies makeup and wears a wig. :D
I find it inspiring, especially when you feel like you have
no chance in looking like the ones you idolize yet ...
when you discover your own beauty you realize that
you've had it in you the entire time.
(Though, not to say that makeup should define your overall
beauty ... its just a part of it.)
Does watching these videos inspire you?
If your into this kind of stuff I mean.

I'm pretty late when it comes to updating my music. Just recently I got to listen to 2NE1's To Anyone album. I had knew of the release back in October but I didn't bother to check it out until now. xD; I LOVE IT and even though I've listened to most of the songs before because of 2NE1's MV's the rest of the tracks were just plain awesome.
I'm pretty eager now for their U.S. debut. >.> According to Wikipedia, and other sources, will.i.am from the black eyed peas is going to help promote 2NE1 in the United States. I hope it proves successful because I would love to go see them live!
I feel like I've been absent for too long. -_-; I told myself that I'd try and update the blog once every week.
My excuse for everything: Tommy He comes over and I end up becoming heavily distracted from the interwebs, my studies, my friends and from makeup. xD Usually I like to sit around and watch makeup tutorials on Youtube but ever since he's back all we ever do is go on adventures and watch everything we can possibly watch on television.
Speaking of makeup! I recently bought a couple of makeup brushes off of elf cosmetics. I'm sort of limited on brushes and most importantly I needed a blending brush. :\ My mom hates it whenever I have to borrow hers. So, I decided to just get my own and some others since all of elf's brushes are really cheap. Brushes range from $1 to $5. It's worth the shot.
I also bought some eye shadows for myself and for ... a possible giveaway in the semi- near future. :D I've been slowly collecting items and thinking about what type of things should be included.
(Only two outfits from past weeks. :\ I've been severely slacking!)
Have you ever thrown a giveaway before? How was it?

Lately my interest in makeup has been growing and expanding.
All I ever cared about was liquid eyeliner, eye shadows, and mascaras. Now I have quite of a huge interest in primers, foundations, powders, blushes/bronzers, brushes ... all the other components in makeup that I basically ignored or just didn't know about. xD
So, as of a few weeks ago I've been slowly buying makeup items that I've done a bit research for and interested in.
I ordered 9 items from e.l.f cosmetics website and they all totaled to exactly $20. I took advantage of their special offer at the time where if you bought items up to $20 you automatically would get free shipping. I was very excited about that since I found a lot of items that I liked.
(The titles of each product will be a direct link to the item online)
Description: Heal and disguise blemishes with the all natural Mineral Blemish Kit. This translucent powder has active acne fighting ingredients like natural Sulfur, Tea Tree and Willow Bark to treat acne and prevent future breakouts while penetrating deep into the pores to control blackheads. Concealer Brush included. Cost: $8.00 What I thought: It doesn't really fulfill its purpose as a translucent powder but it does help fight acne. I've been using it for a week now and it helped get rid of all of my pimples but it hasn't really done anything to my blemishes. I guess I'll wait a month and see what happens. It included a concealer brush in which it doesn't really work with this kind of application.
Description:Achieve perfectly shaped brows to accentuate your face. The reusable stencil is easy to use and with 4 stencils: Curved Arch, Soft Arch, Structured Arch and Full Arch to choose from, it makes these brow stencils suitable for all brow shapes. Now your brows can look picture perfect everyday! Cost:$1.00 What I thought: I love it! I've been using the Soft Arch stencil to help shape my eyebrows and also color them in. This is extremely useful for some us who need help with shaping eyebrows.
Description:Create brows that are fuller, thicker, and more defined! The pigmented wax defines and shapes brows and the color complementing setting powder keeps them looking arched and perfected. The doubled sided taklon brush has one side to help arch your brows while the other side aids in filling them in. This duo provides lasting color definition for a naturally beautiful look. Cost:$3.00 What I thought: It's indeed pigmented but the color doesn't match too well with the color of my own eyebrows. That's my own fault for not choosing the right color. D: I have no idea what to do with the lighter shade that came with this. Overall, it does last all day and doesn't wipe off easily which is a good thing.
Description:Create a healthy and natural glow all year long. The Blush highlights the cheeks to add a flush of color, while the Bronzer accents and contours cheekbones for beautiful definition. Cost: $3.00 What I thought: I really like the blush color and the blush itself. :D Unfortunately e.l.f. doesn't provide a specific name for both the blush and the bronzer colors .... I haven't used the bronzer just yet since I'm still figuring out how to apply it on certain places. xD;
Description:Preps your eyelid for smoother, longer-lasting and crease-proof eyeshadow. The ultra sheer nude color works to increase eye color longevity. The lightweight liquid formula quickly absorbs into the skin for comfortable wear. Cost: $1.00 What I thought: I can't really say much since this is the only eye primer I've ever tried ... (I'm dying to get my hands on Urban Decay's eyelid primer) BUT, it does fulfill what the description says. It does help the eyeshadow last for hours (or 'all day') and the nude color helps lighten up the eyelid skin tone that way the eyeshadow can pop out more. I really like it.
Description:Luxuriously smooth and silky mineral formula provides eyes with a neutral base and an awakened brightness for a long-lasting wear. Choose your favorite colors that best compliment your unique and beautiful look. Cost:$1.00 each Colors: 1) Sage | 2) Moondust | 3)Periwinkle | 4) Mocha
Without flash; during the night.
With flash.
What I thought: I don't think the camera was able to capture the colors but I can guarantee that they're pigmented and they for last hours (or 'all day'). The only thing that sort of disappointed me was the Periwinkle eyeshadow. The color looks really different online compared to it in person. :\ This is how it looks online:
I thought the color was going to be more vibrant or darker just like the image above. These things can't be helped especially when choosing for colors online. D:
Have you ever tried anything from e.l.f. cosmetics? Was there anything you liked or dislike from them?
I liked all of the stuff I bought but there was one item that I really wanted from them but they were out of stock ... It was their Mineral Lipstick in Natural Nymph. Now they have it in stock. -__-

I woke up this morning to find out that it was raining. It continued to rain all day which I found ridiculous. ITS SUPPOSE TO BE WINTER.
Around the morning time I decided to try out the Dolly Wink falsies that I had received from Tommy.
I was so scared of dealing with them. I had a fear of ripping the lashes or ruining them.
Both lashes were not a hassle to deal with except the No. 1's were a bit too long so I had to cut a lash out from the inner corner. I should of done more research about the No.7's as I didn't know that they were individual lashes. I was a bit scared because of that issue but, when I applied each lash it felt a lot easier then what I expected. The Dolly Wink eyelash glue is definitely AMAZING. Both sets of lashes come with a small container of eyelash glue. The glue dries fast, and lasts all day. Also, When you're cleaning the eyelashes the adhesive comes right off just by peeling it and it won't ruin your falsies. I'm really considering on buying the eyelash glue just because I know I'll be needing a lot more. :D
Disclaimer: This is only an attempt at the eye makeup.
This is my 1st attempt at this. ~_~; I followed Moments like Diamonds Gyaru eye makeup tutorial in order to do all this. CLICK HERE TO VIEW IT
Which ones do you find easier to apply: Upper Lashes or Lower lashes? Also, does this eye makeup look ok? Please be honest! <3 I want to become better at this. I know for a fact that I needed to wear some circle lenses to complete the eye look, in which I don't have yet
For the past week I think I've gotten ... 5 more followers on here? Thanks you guys for following my blog! :D I had four people before the extra 5 but that was because of my friend Leena who helped by linking my blog in one of her posts.
Within those 5 extra people was my best friend/lover who's name is Nachi. She recently started using Blogspot/Blogger and I'm pretty darn excited about that. I LOVE reading and lurking through people's blogs and community based blogs.
I'm especially excited since I'll be getting to know those of you who are reading this and vice versa. Again, thanks! ;3
I bought some stick glue so that I can continue to practice on covering my eyebrows. My good friend, Huart, showed me a tutorial on how to cover up your eyebrows with makeup so that it can seem like you've shaved them, which you can then draw any eyebrow type you want on your covered ones.
I've attepted this once before. and then again just an hour ago.
The first time I tried it, I failed horribly. When I tried it again for the second time, I ended up failing but not as bad as the first time. I'm doing something wrong yet it didn't hit me until now.
durrrr. :\
I need to use a panstik rather then foundation. Hmm. D:
In the two tutorials I watched, both of the guys used a panstick and one of them listed his materials in the video's info box.
I feel dumb right now. lol
I'll make sure to somehow obtain a panstik and retry this again. I really want to learn how to draw thin eyebrows without having to shave my actual ones off.
Note: A panstik is a makeup stick, but "panstik" is what Max Factor calls it. I just want a makeup stick, not necessarily from Max Factor.
