I mentioned last time that I'd post part 2 of the PPR review ... but I feel like taking a break from Kyary. Next time I'll make sure to post it. I probably mention her way too many times for my own good (imagine hearing me ramble on about her in real life). Even Tommy knows as much about Kyary as I do. He sometimes sings her songs with me out of his own free will.
So, I was skimming through my cellphone's photo album and came across all of these pictures that I really enjoy looking at. Simply because they bring back memories. ;A; I would love to post all of them, but that would just be insane. So here's some of them. ♡
Popcorn?! Nachi basically coordinated this outfit for me! She found this Tokyo Disney popcorn hair accessory for $5 on ebay. *-* I immediately bought it! Then, to our surprise, she found this cat shirt at a random shop and it came out to around $10. I had this as a display pic on facebook but I though I'd share the story about this picture. Also, if you want to get your hands on this hair accessory just type "tokyo disney popcorn" on ebay and it'll come up.
My dessssk. All of the stuff I've accumulated throughout the years. I posted this on tumblr a few months back.

My two very good friends, Steven and Carmen. Both wearing wigs. All of my closest friends have a thing for wearing fake hair. Either wigs, extensions, or even constantly dying hair. My friends also love getting different haircuts. I don't go for haircuts since I'm growing out my hair and I don't dye it as much. I'm trying to maintain my hair healthy, reasosn why I sport wigs. lol Last time I dyed my hair was in February and last haircut was in December.
The greatest gel eyeliner ever. It stays on for hours and hours and imo better than hassling with maybelline's liquid eyeliners. I HIGHLY reccomend this for anyone who loves the thick liner look. Though, the eyeliner brush that comes with it is just terrible.
An outfit for a photoshoot I had back in January. One of my favorite lolita coords.
The best Bulma cosplay ever! Or so I believe. ;-; She is just adorable! This was from Megacon 2012 back in February.
Oh, Domo. This was when Tommy was trying to fix things between us. He won me this Domo for me at a local carnival. Very cliche, I know.
Effie Trinket cosplay! I fangirled like no other when I saw her. I just had to take a picture. This girl usually cosplays to College which I find really interesting. The closest to this I've gone is going on campus while in lolita. When it was Halloween. By the way, I love the Hunger Games series. The movie felt rushed and the ending should of been the same as the book. I was upset, especially when A CERTAIN SOMEBODY didn't lose their leg in the movie.
I saw them at Toysrus and just randomly paired them together. If they weren't about $13 each I would of bought them!
Meet, Breadou. It looks exactly like bread, smells just like bread, and feels like bread too! My mom was very impressed with this toy. xD
What do you usually take random pictures of?
They finally arrived! *(*´∀`*)☆
Pamyu Pamyu Revolution on the left and Kyary Bon on the right.
This review will consists of two posts. This one will feature all of the album's physical content and the second post will be my personal review of each track from the album. I would also like to make an individual post about Kyary Bon as well sooooo
Lots of Kyary coming your way.
I bought the Limited Edition version of PPR just cuz its her first album. I have her Moshi Moshi Harajuku as limited edition and her Tsukema Tsukeru and Candy Candy singles as regular editions. Its just a personal preference for me to buy albums as limited edition and singles as regular. Also the cover for this album is more appealing then the regular edition. ;-;
What's kind of funny is that I preordered it without realizing what special content was on it. lol
The ~special~ content that comes with the limited edition is that basically the album itself is a 64-page photo book. Also, it comes with a DVD that has all of her 3 PVs (PONPONPON, Tsukema Tsukeru, and CANDY CANDY) annnnd it has some footage from her Kyary's Moshi Moshi Quattro Live concert at Shibuya's Club Quattro.
I haven't watched the live yet but I probably will later tonight.
Looook confettiiii. When you open the photo album the first thing that pops up is the sleeve that holds the CD. There's another disk sleeve at the very end of the book that contains the DVD.
Then there's the tracklist.
After the tracklist, there are at least 30 pages of random pictures of Kyary.
If you want to look at all of the images you can view them here. Thank God someone made scanlations!
The mid point within the photobook is the lyrics portion. After that, there's more pictures.
I apologize for the photos, I took them through my cellphone. My camera is SOMEWHERE but I'm not sure where. (´~`;)
Back of photobook. Where is this?
CD
DVD ... ・ω・
I absolutely love this thang. I laughed at times while looking through this photo book and it's what makes Kyary admirable. You can't tell well in my photos (ugggh) but on the DVD disk its her face on a cat's body. On the CD, its her face on a rabbit's body. I love her.(。♥‿♥。)
What always gets me about the photo books is that it leaves me wanting more! Its how I felt when I got Moshi Moshi Harajuku. I just wanted it to be never ending and it just feels like the book abruptly ends. I end up having to look through th book like, 4 or 5 more times. Its sort of a good thing I got Kyary Bon along with PPR or else I'd mindlessly look through PPR for an hour.
Aside from the album's aesthetics ... what truly won me over was the music itself. Which I'll talk about in my next post. :DD
Thanks for reading!
While I wait for all my stuff to come in ...
I embarrass myself by making videos.
I started off with talking about a few topics and then I didn't realize it, but I was talking for about 20 minutes. (´~`;)After that I just decided to goof around. I obviously had no better use of my time.
Last weekend I went ahead and bought a tripod at Walmart, just for the heck of it. I was getting tired of taking outfit pictures in front of my closet door mirror. Also, I wanted to be more creative with my photos. Y'know, without having to put my camera at awkward places and having the risk of it falling onto the floor. I mean, the idea DID work well. Reasons why I never needed one.
I had already written my own personal review on Kyary's new album. Just waiting for the album itself to come in. I've been mentioning soooo much about Kyary, I knooow. (;´□`) I just rarely go out nowadays. I'll try to make things more excitng at home.
Now that summer is coming up, anyone have plans for it?
Yessssssssssssssss.
I got a wonderful email from yesasia letting me know that they have shipped both Kyary's new album, Pamyu Pamyu Revolution, and her photobook, Kyary Bon.
And here I'm thinking the album doesn't release until tomorrow ... but I forget that other parts of the world are a day/hours ahead of me.(;¬_¬)
Anywho~ Here's the track list for the whole thing:
(If you click on any track it'll redirect you to a tumblr page or youtube video with the song ready for listening!)

I've been really busy with work as of late ... for the past few weeks actually. Which has prevented me from seeing my friends and dressing up. ;-; I mean, I work a shift and then when I'm out from work I end up falling asleep. I went to go visit my friend Nerissa a few days back and I ended up almost falling asleep on her couch. ^^;
Though, obviously since I've been working so much I've been pocketing some $$$. So, recently I bought AP's Candy Treat JSK in the black/lilac colorway.
And I've been trying to find accessories and such to try to match it since I've never owned a black sweet lolita dress before. xD; I don't know where I'll wear this one ... but I'm thinking I would wear it for either a convention or a meet up. If I ever have days off from work to make it to a meetup. What I love most about this this dress is the bow design on the back ... *-* I'm working on trying to get a blouse that would match perfectly with this ... I found a cheap one for $40 on bodyline but I'll have to see how much I can spend this month. :s
I'm also planning on getting my bff, Nachi, some circle lenses for her birthday. (She gave up on blogspot a year back but I hope to God she doesn't come back to see this post) I was looking at all the GEO ones on Yesstyle and I think I found a pair she might really like:
GEO Xtra 3 Tone Blue
I really think these would look so cute on her. ^-^ She's been needing some new lenses since her only pair expired a few months back. I don't think she plans on buying lenses anytime soon since she's always buying Disney stuff... I suppose these are perfect since she won't worry about buying any. :D
Yesstyle is having a promotion of 30% off each pair when you buy two pairs of lenses. Soooo, I plan on getting myself a pair too. These are it:
GEO Xtra Blue
I honestly can't wait to get my hands on these! I hope they don't end up looking too dark on my eyes. :c If it does, atleast I gave them shot and I think I'd still love them regardless.
Other than buying the dress, I also pre-ordered Kyary's new album:
It releases on May 23rd! Ahhhh *(*´∀`*)☆ I got the limited edition which comes with all her PV's and the cover for it looks better than the regular edition. I'm really stoked about this album.
What were your recent purchases?
Two weeks ago I gathered up enough courage and bought these pair of lenses off of yesstyle. Yup, I've never had any type of contacts in my eyes before.
And I'll tell you right now ... Man, that was the most easiest thing in the world. What was I so scared of? It goes to show a lot about my personality that I stayed cleared of something stupid like this. Well actually, I remember my times of squirming around over at the Optometrist's office as she was trying to put eye drops in my eyes. I remember how she try to guilt me into staying still and then she told me things like 'how do you expect to wear contacts if you can't even let eye drops in'. So, ever since all of those times it just caused me to stay clear of contacts ... cause I thought they would sting my eyes just like those medicated eye drops.
Though, they didn't sting. Or at least, not for more than a couple of seconds. When I first got these lenses I immediately opened the vial, dumped one single lenses onto my palm, and I disinfected them with this awesome solution called Opti Free. I heard its important to disinfect the lenses cause you're not suppose to wear the lenses straight from the vial. The solution in the vial aren't meant for your eyes. Though, I've had a couple friends say that they've used the lenses straight from the vials and that nothing bad happened to them. Yet. :P
So ... after disinfecting them it took me like, an hour to get them in. I'm such a paranoid coward. lol I mean it felt like forever ... but once they were in they irritated my eyes a little bit for the first few seconds and then, tada! They ended up feeling extremely comfortable. I wish I tried this years ago. (but yeah, I have such a stubborn, wuss personality) These lenses feel extremely comfortable, I've worn them for more than 6 hours and have had no problems. I really like the color but I suppose if they were a tad bit lighter in color then I would really fall in love.
I've actually been admiring this series of lenses for almost a year. I was so glad to find them on yesstyle in the exact color I wanted. They're pricier on yesstyle but I knew that to begin with. I didn't want to risk getting fake lenses cause I've read around the horrible effects you can get from wearing them. My eyes are bad enough. I don't need to ruin them even more. Yesstyle sells authentic GEO lenses, so I definitely had to jump on that. (I might get more lenses from them soon ... *-*)

EDIT/UPDATE 7/5/12:These lenses are AMAZING. Overall, after comparing them to my Xtra Blue lenses I've decided to give them a better rating.

I started to realize how pretty this color truly is. ALSO, update on the comfort level of these things: I went Paint balling with the Princess Mimi lenses on, took a shower after, and went to go eat dinner and throughout those events they did not dry out AT ALL. I've worn them for 9+ hours on multiple occasions.

It was surprisingly windy and cold outside today. Very unlike Florida.
